This article provides details on the Linguaskill Terms and Conditions to Candidates.
Cambridge University Press & Assessment accepts Linguaskill test entries on the basis that Authorised Linguaskill Centres and candidates fully understand the Regulations contained within the Terms and Conditions.
It is the Centre’s responsibility to ensure that all candidates are made aware of the information contained in these Terms and Conditions at the time of registration.
The Terms and Conditions are provided as a link in the email to candidates with login details. Candidates are also requested to accept these Terms and Conditions when they first log in to the Cambridge English Test Portal, Metrica.

Parental/Guardian Permission Template
Parental/guardian consent is required for the taking of the Test Day Photo and screen recordings, taken with the AI invigilation service, for any candidate aged 16 or 17.
Remember that the Linguaskill test is not recommended to persons under 16 years of age and candidates taking the test remotely (not in Centre) must be 18 years old or older. The test content of Linguaskill is designed for adult English language learners.
The Test Day Photo, screen grabs and recordings are for the purposes of security, transparency and assessment integrity. This information is gathered by Talview, our Invigilation service partner, in order for us to ensure assessment integrity is maintained and to conduct any necessary follow-up malpractice investigations.
Where a parent or guardian is unwilling to give permission for the candidate to have a test day photo taken or for the use of AI invigilation service, then the candidate must not be allowed to sit the test.
You can use the Parental/Guardian Permission template attached. Completed forms need to be retained by the centre until the candidate turns 18, plus an additional 6 months in case of any queries or concerns.
