Linguaskill: Re-sitting a Linguaskill Module and My Best Score

This article details the Linguaskill My Best Score feature and re-sitting Linguaskill modules.

A candidate can re-sit any Linguaskill module as many times as they want. They can do this immediately, or after having studied further. 

The candidate can choose their best score achieved – a unique Linguaskill feature called My Best Score.  This means that candidates don’t have to re-sit all four skills if they want to achieve a higher mark in certain skills. Instead, they can concentrate solely on improving the skills they need.

For the result of the re-sit to be linked to the original test, it must be taken with the same login. It's also necessary for the candidate to sit the components under the same Institution ID/centre number (e.g. GB100).

Test results are available via the Cambridge English Test Portal, Metrica indefinitely.  Candidates should check with the appropriate Recognising Organisation for how long they accept results.   

The candidate can choose to share and download their best score achieved in each module when selecting My Best Score.  Alternatively, they can choose Available Linguaskill Results from a specific test date to show on their Linguaskill digital certificate or when sharing results with a recognising organisation.
