These instructions are for Agents only.
If you are creating a new client who is based in a different country to you and that country is not listed as approved in Schedule 2 of your Agent Agreement then you must get approval from Cambridge before starting to work with them. To submit the details for approval please click here.
If you have clients, you may wish to set up user accounts for them so that they are able to order tests and view candidate results.
Please follow the instructions below for details on how to do this.
1. Log into the Cambridge English Test Portal
URL: https://www.metritests.com/metrica
2. Click on the My Clients tab:
3. Select My Clients from the drop-down list:
The list of any clients you have added to the portal will be displayed here.
4. To create a new client, click the add button.
You will be taken to the screen where you can add your client's details. A number of these fields are compulsory.
5. Add your client's name.
6. Add your client's address.
7. Add the country where your client is located, and select the appropriate time zone.
You can also check the tick-box if you would like to create a default venue using these details.
Click Save to save the clients details.
You will be taken back to the list of clients. You will now see your new client here.
Adding a User to a Client
You will then need to create a user for this client.
1. Click on the New Client you have just created.
2. Click on the Users tab:
3. Then click on the Add User button.
You can add the user details on this screen.
You will also need to provide a username and email address for the user.
Then you will need to select the appropriate user role. For clients, you should only select the Linguaskill_Client role. The other roles listed are for agents at your main location only and giving a client one of these roles will give them incorrect permissions.
Once you have added your user's details, click the Save button.
Your user will now be added, and their status will show as active. They will receive an email directing them to set up a password.
If you click on the Venues tab, this will display all of the venues for this client.
You can create additional venues by clicking on Add Venue and adding the details of the venue.
If you click on the Tests tab, you will be able to see a list of products and see the quantity and status of each of these tests.
