This Quick Guides shows the key steps needed to run a Linguaskill test.
Full details of each of these steps can be found in the Linguaskill Manual for Metrica.
This guide assumes you already have Venues and User accounts created.
Step 1 - Purchase Test Credits in the shop
Test credits are ordered in the portal using the Institution Shop, and these are required before you can make any entries. Each entry uses one test credit.
Further information on purchasing test credits can be found here.
Step 2 - Add a new session if required
In the Cambridge English Test Portal, tests are arranged into Sessions. A session will be for one particular test and contains the details of the candidates who have been entered for that test.
Further information on sessions can be found here.
Step 3 - Create candidate Entries
The easiest way to make Entries is with the Bulk Entry Import feature, more details on this can be found here.
Other methods of entering candidate details are available, please refer to the User Guide for details.
Step 4 - Run the Test
Candidates can access the test using an entry code you provide them, or with existing login details.
Further information on the candidate test experience can be found here.
Step 5 - Access candidates results
This can be done via the Group Report for all candidates, or the Test Report to produce candidate's certificates.
Further information on accessing results can be found here.
If you require any further details on any of these steps, please refer to the Linguaskill Manual for Metrica here.
