For computer based tests, you can manage the questions that your candidates will be asked prior to taking the test, including which ones are mandatory.
How to manage candidate information:
1. Log into the Cambridge English Test Portal
2. Click the My Institution tab
3. Click My Institution link
4. On the Summary tab, click Candidate Information
5.Select the information that you wish candidates to enter before they begin their tests. Select the Make visible option to make a question visible but not mandatory, and select the Make mandatory option to make a question mandatory
There will be some candidate information that is automatically mandatory. These will already have both the Make visible and the Make mandatory options selected and you will not be able to deselect them.
6. Click Save
The questions that you have selected to be visible and/or mandatory will be shown to candidates before they start their tests. Candidates will have to answer all mandatory questions before they can begin their tests.
