User Roles
Only the Linguaskill_Agent user role can create additional Users. Please speak to your Agent if you require additional users.
Each test run on Metrica may have different User types available. Please consult the table below to find details of which users you will need for the specific test(s) you are running:

Linguaskill_ Agent |
The role for managing the Linguaskill centre account (including setting sessions, creating logins and importing candidate details) and creating User accounts. |
Linguaskill_Purchasing |
This user is able to purchase tests in the shop, and approve or reject client orders. Other sections are read only. Only select this role for users at the main location, not Client locations. |
Linguaskill_Entries |
This user is able to make candidate entries. Other sections are read only. Only select this role for users at the main location, not Client locations. |
Linguaskill_Results |
This user is able to view reports. Other sections are read only. Only select this role for users at the main location, not Client locations. |
Linguaskill_Entries_no_results |
This user is able to create entries, but cannot generate any reports. Only select this role for users at the main location, not Client locations. |
Linguaskill_Client |
This is a customer of the Agent. The agent can sell tests to Clients and they can then run tests.

The person who takes the test. |
You can give new users multiple roles if you wish them to have access to more than one area.
How to add a new user:
1. Log into the Cambridge English Test Portal
URL: https://www.metritests.com/metrica
2. Click My Institution
3. Click the Users tab
4. Click Add User
5. Complete the new user form, ensuring you select the relevant User Role as per the table above, and click Save
6. The user will receive an email from the system to set their password and login. They'll then be ready to go.
Suspending a User Role
There may be occasions where you need to suspend a user's role and access to Metrica.
1. Click on Users under My Institution. See below.
2. Click on the Username you wish to suspend. This will be a blue link.
3. This opens up the User details. Click on the Suspend User tab t the top of the page.
4. You will then be asked if you are sure you want to change the user status to inactive. Click OK. The user will then have their access suspended to Metrica.
Client Users
If you have any Clients running tests on your behalf, you will need an a user account and venue for each of them.
